I am Back

Well, I guess I stood by my "don't dwell on what you do not want". That would explain my lack of posts. The cancer has left my body from the neck down. It does turn out that my brain did get its' hand on some.

It is different with this round. I had a siezure which lead to the tests that showed the lesions and tumors in several places in my brain. I have more physical side effects with this challenge. I have balance and steadiness issues, dizzy, light headed, hear noises (like ringing, tapping, dripping), memory and cognitive issues. Also, I still have swallowing issues that never went away from the lung radiation treatments. I have a candida fungus in my throat which makes it difficult and uncomfortable to swallow and often begin to choke while eating. I am expecting these to go away as the cancer does. Only one more week of brain radiation.

But, honestly, I am doing very well. I will post more soon.
