I have been resting and I have been busy. I love that I do my work on my computer right from my living room and my laptop. I do have an office with a desktop but not nearly as relaxing as using the laptop from other comfortable places. The sniffles, sneezes and sore throat are still with me. I choose to cancel two mastermind calls this week due to having laryngitis and the aggravation talking caused in my throat. A part of the throat thing is from the radiation treatments near my esophagus. Oh well, it is what it is.
Here are some ideas about making the most from your laptop. First of all, find yourself a laptop. I have a great table that resembles the tables for near your bed in the hospital. The T leg has wheels so it slides right under my stuffed chair. It also has a part that tilts toward me to make it very ergonomic. There is a section next to this that stays flat for beverages, notepads and my mouse. I use my laptop while having chemo. My hospital has WiFi so I can get on the internet. Check with your place to see if you may bring your computer. My husband picked up a computer game (Mahjong) this week for $10. Believe me, it will give me many hours of enjoyment. So even without an internet connection, I have something to occupy me. Sometimes I do not feel like thinking, but I want to be doing something. I have a challenge just sitting still.
I was busy working this weekend. I have a monthly newsletter "That's Good". It is full of positive information, free ebooks and great sites to visit. Daily, I send out "Apple-A-Day"...this is food for thought, nourishment for the mind. It has an inspirational quote and a few words from me. I have everything in place for all my Mind Over Cancer teleseminar, coaching and newsletter. You can check all of these out and sign-up at: www.lifesuccess.ws/signup
So, how about...are you busy resting?
Make it a great day
